James joined Advent Capital Investments Ltd as Head of Business Development and Marketing in 2009. He is the Director responsible for all aspects of Advent Capital Investments Ltd's marketing and business development, including investor relations with current clients, whilst developing further relationships with new investors in the charity, professional investor and institutional markets.

James has responsibility for all marketing and investor relations for the Property Income Trust for Charities (PITCH). James is a Trustee to two registered charities and on the Finance Committee for a Great XII Livery Company.

Prior to joining Advent Capital Investments Ltd, James graduated from Durham University with a degree in economics and politics. Following this, James completed a four year commission in HM Armed Forces, and then spent 12 years running a leading West End art gallery. In 2005 he helped set up St Vincent Capital where he was responsible for marketing and business development of this FSA regulated business.
